Mission
The UT Outreach Center – Austin was created in October, 1989.  Our program is designed to assist and encourage top 8% students, potential first generation college students, and FARL (free and reduced lunch) students to attend the University of Texas at Austin after graduation from AISD.

Overview
UT Outreach – Austin is one of five centers within the University of Texas at Austin’s Division of Diversity and Community Engagement portfolio.  UT-Outreach Austin offers academic enrichment and college readiness services to students within the Austin Independent School District.  UT-Outreach Austin will help all their students through the UT-Admissions process.

In particular, we will provide the students opportunities for college prep workshops; financial aid workshops; community service opportunities and Future Leaders’ Conferences.  UT Outreach will be present at all AISD schools and help facilitate workshops and coordinate UT campus activity opportunities.
